Corvus Crusader CA-22

The Corvus Crusader aircraft is a single engine low wing mono- plane with a conventional empennage and tricycle landing gear. The airframe is made of carbon-Kevlar-glass fiber fabric, with a Kevlar “Nomex” honeycomb sandwich structure.

The Crusader is a dual control side-by-side two seat ultralight aircraft fitted with a Sauer S2500UL engine. It also benefits from an Ivoprop electrically adjustable variable pitch propellor. With excellent short field performance, a stall speed as low as 39kts, 16kts demonstrated crosswind limit and cruise speed of 120kts @ 15 lph making this is a very flexible aircraft.

At maximum takeoff weight; just under 555kg, the Crusader only requires a short takeoff roll off less than 100m and an extremely short landing roll of  50m. Avionics include a full EFIS fit of Dynon D-100 and a D-120 engine monitoring system. A mode S Garmin GTX-330 transponder, Trig TY96 Radio and an AVMAP EKP-IV moving map gps.
